Buckle Up

I haven't forgotten about this endeavour, the time is simply slow in coming. I believe that today we are going to reach the peak of the information we're going to recieve. There is a hands-on event going on in Orlando for NCAA , Head Coach and Madden. It looks to me to be a good way to kick-off the next flow of info for Head Coach and Madden and to put a bow-tie on NCAA before they settle in for the last tweaks.

As such, just as I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, the hands on previews will become basically useless. (We know more about the game at this point this year than we've ever known before release day)

I'm in the middle of (A double whopper value meal) getting everything sorted to begin briefing you on the information you will need on each store and person you may encounter to ensure success.

So for today - enjoy the outpour of information coming from the community day and we'll be knee deep in early copies before you know it.

Here Come The Sleepless Nights

It's fitting that since I'm on vacation and have more time to saturate my time looking at things I can't have, EA is going to show them off in full force. Aside from the daily alternate uniforms, now Operation Sports has a beta copy of the game and is posting team ratings and top player ratings. (Georgia has a long way to fall this year.)

Top that off with the new feature at NCAA Strategies that allows people to compile sounds for the Stadium Sounds portion of the game and the new NCAA 09 site at EA Sports.com and things turned from obnoxious (The alternate uniform screens showing up late, if at all) to glorious in a matter of hours.

And so it looks as though with all of this content being posted on other sites, I serve no purpose. I say not so. When we've seen 25 different screens of the same pose or the 12th IGN article about the return of home-field advantage and we're all tired of reading and willing to kill to play the game - the purpose of this site will shine though, much like that nearly-expired loaf of Sunbeam when you forgot you had bread but had a monster craving for some toast.

We have nine weeks until the official release of NCAA Football 09 - do you plan on waiting that long?

Check back real soon.
